"This hotel was in a great position to walk down to Bergerac and look around the many lovely shops and restaurants it has to offer. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The air con worked well in the room and there was a kettle. The only negative was that the tea bags/sugar weren’t replaced and there was no milk left. The receptionist we had for the weekend we were there (August 22-25th) was outstanding! She was very helpful, had excellent english and couldnt do more for you. As well as that she always had a smile and a hello for you when you entered or exited the building. Overall i would recommend this hotel and would go again if i was staying in Bergerac. "

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."

"We had a terrible start to our vacation due to a late flight, we had to catch a late train and we were unsure if we could even check in. Owner was able to help us. We’re very appreciative, this trip could’ve been awful but the owner turned it around into a good trip. Thank you. "

"I didn’t know if I was in a prison camp or on a building site but it certainly didn’t feel like I was on holiday and I can make much better scrambled eggs myself for breakfast in 30 seconds . I don’t even think my dog would have eaten it. I Couldn’t wait to leave. The scrambled eggs at breakfast had been there for hours and was inedible . Really awful french hospitality compared to what I’m used to and Ive visited France 150 times . When I told the manageress she told me I didn’t need to eat it. She really didn’t care if I liked it or not . She even argued with me , the client. I have a great fondness for France but this place was beyond my lowest ever experience of the hospitality sector for which France is so well known . You could not even pay me to stay in such a place again . This felt like a trucker’s motel and it isn’t worthy to be listed on Hotels.com. If you want crumby American style student level accommodation this is for you . I have stayed in hotels all over the world in at least 100 countries . Very poor show from the French hospitality sector . "
