"We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful chateaux after finishing up our cruise. The romantic room was gorgeous! Very comfortable bed, beautiful river view. I wish the menu had been bigger but the food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful."

(I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "We were greeted by Maxim, who took great care to show us around, explain things, take us to our room etc. We had 3 nights of peace and quiet and access to the beautiful pool. Lucie looked after us splendidly for our first breakfast & I can't begin to tell you how impressed were with our quarters. Being just 10 rooms, it's geared for relaxation & a little luxury. While we were happy with all food options, I suspect the lack of prepared cooked food for dinner, may be not to everyone's liking. But Bordeaux is just a few minutes away by car if so desired. As I said, we loved our 3 night stay & have already told friends & relatives that they should stay there if the opportunity arises. "
"We woke up late and missed breakfast. We asked the lady serving breakfast if it was too late and she kindly prepared us a breakfast just for us. She was so friendly and helpful. Her service was above and beyond and we can't thank her enough. Réception was also very friendly. Id recommend this hotel purely for the servive. Only negative was the air con in the room which was 26c all night."
"This nice and modern aparthotel is well maintained and its location is very convenient as there is a tram station just half a block away. You can be in Bordeaux’s historic center in less than 20 minutes and if you’re traveling to the next destination by train, the train station (Saint-Jeanne) is just half an hour away at just 3.3 Euros per person. I highly recommend this hotel. I would book again. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment about that. The staff is friendly and they explain well to you what you can do in town. "

We were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine hospitality by the wonderful Pascal, Emma, and Kim. A couple of highlights were conversing with the wonderful staff, enjoying breakfast in the château’s picturesque backyard, admiring the chateau’s interior, and doing the wine tour an unforgettable setting.
