"We were a honeymoon couple and we were not given the category of room which we had asked for and booked for- floating room. Whilst booking we had called the hotel that we particularly want the floating room when booked with expedia but not given. Even the staff is lousy. Expedia staff kept calling the hotel but the night Reception staff kept hanging their phone without answering and finally kept the phone aside.spoiled our honeymoon plans. "

The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places."
