Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you've planned ahead. Check out these handy hints that will get your Orchid escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:

• Air travel can be a stress-free experience if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare set of clothes and a magazine or two. • Keep your boarding pass and passport at hand. They're the first things you'll be asked to show at security.

• All your electronics, including your tablet and phone, will also need to be scanned separately.
