"Well Worth the price"

"Imagine a truck stop from the 80’s. Dark, musty, could have just been cleaned but still looks dirty and lots of smokers hanging out right by your entry door. Yeah, you have to walk through them to get to your room, and they’re right outside just hanging out…. Don’t let the website fool you. Don’t stay here. Front desk help was not helpful and could not figure out how to cancel stay or provide a refund. Do yourself a favor and stick to the bigger name hotels across the street."

"Bathroom was cleaned but so run down. Bedding had cigarette burn holes on it. The motel was only a place to sleep, nothing more nothing less. "

"The hotel itself is fine. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. I would probably not return because the road noise from 81 was awful. We actually checked out a day early because we didn't get any sleep. If you can sleep through noise, the hotel is fine."

"Breakfast didn’t look good enough to eat there so we just went out. Room was clean but shabby. The bathroom was very nice tho. But the 2 bath towels for 2 people were quite small. I guess I was just expecting better based on Expedia reviews."

"This was the first time staying and was very impressed with the place. The Loft was beyond our expectations. The town was nice and walkable to eating and outdoor space. We will be back the next time we go thru Salem, VA"
