"My mum and me had a wonderful stay at Pontlands Hotel. The staff are very friendly. The bedroom was nice and beds were comfortable. We had a good view out of our window and we were both very happy with the room. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa was great and made our trip. Also the restaurants in the hotel did fabulous food. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and would highly recommend. The parking is quite full when the spa is open but there is extra parking round the back near a childrenโs nursery as additional parking. After 6 pm at night the parking is much better. It is is great that you get to can use the spa when you are staying at the hotel. We had a lovely long weekend away."

"It was short walk from the train station and like 50 minutes from London. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and the bus to colchester city center is pretty good. The hotel was clean and check out was pretty easy as well."

"Overnight stay was perfect for us. We were attending a wedding in the area. Staff were so lovely. Breakfast was perfect, a nice full English. Parking is very limited just next to the hotel, but thereโs plenty of parking round the corner."
