"What a sweet surprise! Great stay for a weekend to watch the hockey game. Location was amazing. It’s close to restaurants/pubs within walking distance. The canal/Rigaud Center are about 7 mins away by car. Cheap parking lot on the main street which was ten bucks for the day. Mall parking was about 6$/hour. The breakfast was included and it was plentiful with a lot of choices, even take out bags with water and Dad’s cookies/granola bar. There was a lot of variety to choose from, as well as juice, chocolate milk and even a Nespresso coffee machine. The room was clean and had a small kitchen with all the necessities. They have indoor/outdoor parking at an extra cost but well worth it. You can even get extra towels/toiletries if needed. If seeing the hockey game, I highly recommend grabbing the bus at The Leutenant’s Pump which is right around the corner and a skip away. It was a no hassle way to get to and from the arena. Cost 15$ a person and you can get the tickets online. No brainer to not deal with traffic. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I even got 10$ off for not using housekeeping the first day, just mention it. Obviously the hotel does not have updated rooms/décore but it’s very clean and they have updated some things. I will definitely stay here again. It was a safe, not overly priced place to stay."

"Absolutely incredible stay at The Lord Elgin hotel. Hotel couldn’t be more central. Right from check in, all if the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful room overlooking the city. The room was spotless and very nicely decorated with everything we needed including a really comfortable bed. Wanted to say a very special thank you to Immaculata who was working at the front desk. Very friendly and kind with excellent customer service skills. She went above and beyond to make sure our special occasion weekend was a memorable one. Also special shout out thank you's to Claire, Gus, Bana and Nancy! Thank you and we will definitely be back again! "
