"I could hear a dog barking and doors slamming late into the night. The morning was still slamming doors. The walls are very thin and we even had a sound machine. Staff was amazing and great amenities."

"In the center of Williamsburgs activities- outlets and more. Nicely maintained b property. Spacious rooms and very clean. Nice indoor pool. Breakfast was good, although we got caught up with a large bus of students, so most of the food-eggs, yogurt, bread were gone by 8:40. Staff was helpful although I'm NOT a fan of wearing ear buds when servicing customers - (check in & out), (I'm a teacher and this irks me since you never know if they are fully attentive). Overall, a pleasant experience and I will try Wingate again."

"The outside is beautiful. Rooms need updating and property offers bowling for a fee!!!! $30 for 1 hr+ cost of shoe rental, why stay on a resort when nothing is included! Playground is small!!! My kids were not amused and they are 6 & 9. They only have one small basket ball court. They were so pushy at check in wouldn’t even release our keys without trying to get us scheduled for a time share we drive over 4 hrs with 2 children on being autistic we were ready to get our key and go to the room. Overall wouldn’t go back …and not to mention they charge $11 for a clean set of towels I was told that’s why they provide tide in the unit for you to wash your own towels. Who’s doing that on a vacation!"

"Facility is average. The rooms are nice. The kitchen was dated. The miniature golf, fire pit and ping pong tables were operable. The outside pool was not. The basketball court did not have a ball and the tennis court did not have rackets or balls. The grounds are nicely maintained. The indoor pool was not heated even though it should have been. We alerted staff and they corrected the problem. The second outdoor pool was open. The outdoor hot tub was dirty. Be advised that they hold double the total amount for your stay. It takes 5-7 days to remove the hold. The staff were nice and helpful."
