Good value, layover hotel
Layover so only there for sleep and breakfast. Clean and large beds! They were ‘firm’ but had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very much Chinese and if you like that there was loads of choice, otherwise just toast, fruit and eggs (warm fruit juice) Small mini market in lobby if you’ve forgotten anything. Free transfer to airport. Overall an ideal stop over hotel.

It's perfect choice for those who will take flights at Chengdu Airport: 1) Location: very close to the airport, just minutes away; 2) Airport Shuttle: very frequent from 30 min to hourly in 24 hours/day; 3) Breakfast: starts as early as 5:00am, a big PLUS!!! 4) Very good restaurant: convenient, tasty Chinese food; 5) Good gift shop: offers a lot of local specialized gifts; 6) Very well equipped room, especially a safe-box offered; 7) Very nice services in whole hotel, from front desk to room service, to the shop and restaurant, etc. I'll book here absolutely the next time when I come to Chengdu! Thanks!

The hotel is alright. The problem is the hotel did not receive the iternary from Expedia when I arrived at 10.30pm. Expedia staff over the phone, could not settle the issue and had me waited till 12.34am. I am very disappointed that even 12.34am , it is not resolved and I directly booked the room to the hotel instead and then followed by call later that they will cancel the booking so no charge to my account. It is a freezy and tiring night which Expedia would have act to cancel booking as I suggested at 11am.

Love the location of the hotel, right next to the airport terminal. Shuttle service was great and the hotel staff even handed me a packed breakfast as I left early. A bit noisy due to the proximity to the airport. Perfect place for people in transit.

Great location and quality of the service
I like the location, service, and quality of the hotel. You can walk to the hotel from either Terminal 1 or 2 in 15 minutes through the side walk. We had meal in the hotel. We found the price, service, and quality of the dinner exceeding our expectation.

Nice transit hotel
Just 800m from airport terminus. Good and reliable shuttle bus to bring guest to and fro airport terminus at every 30min. Room is clean and well kept. Recommended for having transit flights at Chengdu airport.

Free shuttle starts at 5 am and on our day there was a large group leaving so the bus was nearly full. Not enough room to load everything under the bus thus many bags in the seats and asile. Driver announced terminal one and then just drove past to terminal 2. We got a lift back to terminal 1 from a free lance driver for 30 yuan. Would suggest waiting for 5:30 shuttle and making sure the driver will stop at both terminals. Other than this issue we were very pleased with the room and got a good nights sleep until our wakeup call at 4:30.

Great deal close to the airport
I had a late arrival and knew the metro would be closed, so I wanted something close to the airport. This was perfect; clean and modern for a reasonable price. About a 15 minute walk from T1, maybe 10 minutes from T2. They also have a free shuttle every half hour. The only negative was a lack of western breakfast options (basically only toast and eggs).

Convenient stay
It is close to the airport. From airport you can see the hotel. The is shuttle bus to pick up and drop off. But hotel charge again, saying Expedia will refund the fee charged when room was booked. It is different from my recently stay in other hotels, for example, Fraser Suites Chengdu. When I booked the suites, Expedia charged me, and when I checked in the Frase, they did not need to charge me again. In order to avoid being charged twice, I want Expedia to confirm to me that your charge will be refunded to me. This is the unsatisfactory point I have about this hotel.

Convenient Hotel near Airport
Overall, it's a good hotel to stay since I need to connect back to the airport again! Breakfast is normal, dun expect much. Hotel does not provide service to leave your baggage behind while u travel to other parts of China. Maybe they can consider providing, it really helps the traveler a lot if this service is available.

Not the hotel across the street from the Airport
We found it very difficult to get out of the airport and to the shuttle pick-up location. Taxi drivers swarm you and it was hard to get the hotel to send the shuttle because no one spoke English. We had a local call the hotel to send the shuttle. The breakfast was pretty horrible. Hot Tang - Yuck. Chengdu is a nightmare and should be avoided on any layover.

This hotel is a perfect place for a quick overnight stay. We were picked up by their free airport shuttle and had no issues checking in. Room was comfortable and provided travel sized toiletries as well as tooth brushes and tooth paste. Was very clean and walking distance from the airport. Perfect for a quick overnight stay.

Only location is good as is near airport
Free shuttle bus only in half an hr interval, but do not know where is the exact location to wait for the bus. In the end, we took a cab to the hotel, is just a turn away. Very limited choices for Breakfast for international tourists, the spread is more for locals.

For an airport hotel not much English understood. A lady of the night knocked on our room door at 1:30 am. No Western food available in the restaurant. The room was very comfortable. No wake up service available though. Overall a good place to stay for early or late flights.

Free hotel shuttle bus to airport, every 30mins, on the hour & half past(from 4am). From airport, I'm not sure the time. Only take less then 5mins. Excellent breakfast, pently to choose, both Western & Chinese food(Egg, Sausage, Congee, Fried Ho Fun Noodle, Steamed Bun & etc) Good simple hotel for a quick night sleep with hot shower & good wifi. I arrived late in the evening in Chungdu airport due to flight delay and my next flight was the following day in the afternoon. I took uber to Chungdu Panda Base from hotel at 7:30am, cost ¥60, 50mins car ride.

Very close to the airport and free shuttle service. This was also the best "Chinese" breakfast we had of any hotels that offer breakfast in China. Large selection and pretty decent coffee. There is a shopping mall about 25 minutes walk from the hotel.

OK to stay hotel
I requested a non-smoking room at booking the reservation. The room was still filled of smell of cigarette. Free airport shuttle was good. Hotel location is very close to CTU.

This hotel is an above average hotel for China. They have a shuttle to/from the airport; 5 minutes away. It is clean and good enough for an airport layover. The staff is friendly but spoken English can be limited.

Great-value transit hotel
The hotel is a short 5 minute shuttle ride away from the airport. The shuttle is free to use and will pick you up from the airport. I arrived at midnight and the shuttle was still running. The shuttle will also leave from the hotel to the airport every thirty minutes beginning at 4:30a.m. The rooms were comfortable enough for a one-night layover. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was okay. Would recommend for a one or two night stay.

Perfect for an overnight very close to the airport
Just needed a place close enough to the airport to walk their and return associated with a connection from a Lhasa to Chengdu in the evening to the Chengdu to San Francisco flight the next morning. This hotel lived up to my expectations and was more than adequate for this purpose. I booked this same hotel for colleagues following the same routing.

Well located about 500m outside the airport gates. The hotel shuttle bus was quite easy to organise on arrival via the free (3min) local phones outside of customs - Terminal 1. Although the mini-bus itself was not very well marked. The reception staff spoke good English & were very friendly. The room itself was clean & functional. The only item missing for my purposes was a fridge. Wi-fi reception was good in 'B' block. Breakfast was included but only featured local items - not unusual, so don't get too excited looking for bacon/eggs etc!

Not a terrible place, though not my favorite. I've stayed several times. I stay there only when I'm in Chengdu passing through on long overnight layover... aside from that there's nothing around. The good: the hotel is cheap, it's clean, and it's super convenient. It's easiest to get a taxi for 8 rmb from the airport, even though the hotel offers shuttle service. Just make sure you tell the driver Chengdu Airport Express Hotel not Chengdu Airport Hotel nor Chengdu Airport Motel, because all 3 are nearby as well. Their shuttle back to the airport runs every 30 minutes on the :00 and :30 which is a major plus. Literally they're ALWAYS on time and if you take the :00 you'll be to the terminal door at :03 and if you take the :30 you'll be there at :30 ... I told you it's close to the airport! The bad: Check in this time was a bit dicey, they couldn't find my Expedia reservation... so it took about 30 minutes to get checked in while they found it. There are NO English speakers at this hotel. It's China, but most large hotels always have someone on staff who speaks basic English. Not here.... so be prepared for that. Not a huge deal. Breakfast is VERY Chinese. Don't think they'll have any western or international foods, it's purely Chinese fare. I just had a snack at the buffet, and the fried noodles were actually delicious. Overall it's a decent hotel. You get what you pay for... It's not the cheapest airport hotel but I found it's the best value and most reliable.
