Misleading ads. Small bed and small rooms.
Property is nicely located in the outer less populated side of Chennai. Cons- A) BED- I booked for a family of 2 adults and 2 children(3,8yrs). The site showed the room having "2 TWIN beds sufficient for the family". On checking in, I was shocked to see that the room had only 1 regular double bed instead of 2 TWIN(double) beds. Surprisingly, the staff and Hotels.com customer care informed that this is the nomenclature used by the IBIS hotel. This is a serious issue because by mentioning TWIN you are giving an impression that it is a DOUBLE and 2 TWIN bed means 2 Double bed. This falls under the purview of false advertisement intended to mislead the customers. We somehow managed to spend the night. B) Room size- Utterly Liliputian rooms. Considering the cost(5,200) and family size (2 adults, 2 children), the rooms were not at all spacious. Perhaps, best suited for 2 people only. The reception staff claimed that all the rooms were of same size. B) Laundry- Towels Not fresh and crisp dry. C) One way airport transfer, though included in website booking, is not provided by the hotel. Had to coordinate between Hotels. Com and IBIS and still waiting for taxi reimbursement from the Hotels. Com. Pros- Location, good, ambiance, upkeep, staff. All in all, a disappointing stay due small bed and room size. Such big names should refrain from misleading customers. Their 2 TWIN bed is not 2 Double bed which cannot accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Seriously misleading. Feel cheated.

The mobile number shared on hotels.com of tanya to contact during check in. when i called this lady she was not in hotel as her shift was over, and she refused to assist me and in case when they are not assisting us after their shift why hotels.com should share their number, after 5 min of auguments i had asked her to atleast share the duty manager number which she shared, the issue is she could have share the duty manager number in first then refuse to assist. During checkin theere was some extra charges as compare to what was shown on website. the rooms are tool small and crampy they refused to give additional blanket
