Perfect location in Chiang Mai, walkable to night markets, shopping, and restaurants. Perfect area when staying inside the old city. Front desk was lovely, not much of a breakfast but there are several options close by. Very clean and quiet.

Room was nice and clean, spacious and extra large king sized bed. Bathroom was okay, nothing fancy and every worked as well as good hot water supply. Room fit out is proportional with price...a good basic room. Hotel in convenient location. Several eateries, massage and laundry services close by. Would normally be fairly quiet, but evening roadworks happening during our stay.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, and we really liked it. First of all the workers were always very friendly, they kept our rooms very clean as well as all their facilities. A great advantage of this place is that it is next to a variety of restaurants, markets and shops, every night you will find something new to do in the area, it is also a place where you can request to be picked up for tours, and it is only 17 minutes from the airport. I really recommend it!

Reserva con vista a la alberca , decía que habitación con cama matrimonial pero nos dieron cama Kong size lo cual se agradece mucho, muy bonito limpio el personal amable con quien se deja y distante con quien lo prefiere así también, ampliamente recomendado el desayuno está bien pero a menos de una cuadra infinitos cafés y restaurantes para elegir muy baratos, puedes llegar todos los templos dentro del centro caminando al bazar y al rio ping, barrios Chino con caminatas máximas de media hora excelente ubicación

twin bed 로 예약을 했지만, 호텔측의 실수로 더블 베드로 1박하였습니다. 이후는 twin으로 바꿔주긴 했습니다. 수영장은 수영할 정도로 크지는 않았습니다. 그래도 위치는 좋아서 주변을 걸어다니기에는 편했습니다.

Overall, my stay at BB Mantra was a pleasant one, but there were a couple of unfortunate incidents that soured the experience. Upon check in, we found out the hotel had overbooked; we had to check in to a different room, then re-check in the next morning. While this was a minor annoyance, the staff was helpful ensuring a smooth transition. Everything else was fine until check out, when I was informed we needed to pay for the breakfasts we had eaten. I thought I had been told at check in that breakfast was included, but since I foolishly had not verbally confirmed this policy, I agreed to pay without issue. However, despite the sign on the counter confirming credit cards as an acceptable method of payment, apparently this doesn't apply to breakfast... because "that's separate"? I might have wrongly assumed breakfast was included, but there's no way someone told me it was cash only. Seems important. Since this was the end of our trip, we were low on cash, and so I was pressured to use the ATM across the street, thus incurring an additional $20 in credit card/ATM fees. Very bad taste in the mouth driving away. So, in conclusion, BB Mantra is good value, but could stand to improve the front desk's communication and organization. Future guests would do well to stay on their toes.
