Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Had welcome pack which was lovely and they thought of everything that could be needed for a comfortable stay I was very impressed. The room was quiet, air conditioning good. Bed very comfortable had good night sleep. Shower very good. Location was good, accessible to attractions and restaurants in the vicinity. Would definitely recommend and return again

This was a great hotel. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. We were just too busy. It was a great location! We walked pretty much everywhere and it was close car ride to the airport. It was nice just walking next door for a massage too!

Great little place in the heart of Chiang Mai makes it accessible to all important surrounding areas. The staff was always very nice and polite and even given us a free souvenir! What a nice people. The place was sparkly clean. I would rate this place much higher than a 5star hotel in Bangkok.

Chiangmai was amazing and hotel was simple and adequate. Breakfast was satisfactory but simple. Location was good and hotel looked new. Pool was smaller than expected and located between the two buildings - not much ‘atmosphere’

We did not recieve the welcome drink that was supposed to be included. We asked ahead of time for a quiet room and we were put facing the street between the elevator and the stair case.

Not fantastic in actual fact
I stayed for 5N in this hotel which I was looking forward due to the 4.4 rating. But honestly, I do not think it is worth such a high rating due to a few reasons. 1) The so call free parking was along the road side which does not belong to the hotel. 2) the room I stayed on the 1st night was horrible due to the smell from the sewage system 3) the sound insulation from floor to floor is disturbing especially at night.

What we liked: Location of the hotel is very good. The staff is very friendly and provide good service. Cleaning. What we didn't like: Our balcony was directed to the wall of next building. Very poor breakfast, I think it was the bad breakfast ever, there are only two kinds of jam, butter, bread and coffee or tea (one kind of each), that's all.

This is my go to hotel in Chiang Mai. Wonderful, warm and caring staff who go out of their way to help you whenever they can. I have been staying there 3 times now and each time is even better. This year I was in the new section of the hotel and the new room was great. Bigger and better. Due to the construction, which I understand is almost completed, the full breakfast option was not available but they had complimentary toast and great coffee (or tea). They are also almost finished a new pool which I am sure to use next time I go, as they never had one before. Thank you Cozytel for a wonderful stay. I can't wait to be there again.

The hotel is in an old area. This hotel could be better. In my room, the bed was very comfortable but the window and the balcony was opening up to another building’s wall. The worst part was, the bathroom. The shower door would not close, and the sink would not drain at all. Water would then sip out on the floor. But I think the staff more than compensated for the inconveniences - they were really nice. Last, do you really have to make money out of hailing a cab to the airport? A five star hotel provides a limousine service for 150 baht. You called a cab for 250 baht. That was a bit low. So, anyone planning to visit Thailand, download the Grab cab calling app popular in Thailand. You can have the same ride for 50 or so baht.

The staff keeps you cozy
The staff at the Cozytel are extremely accommodating. As other reviewers have mentioned we found the airconditioning on the top floor a bit weak compared to what we were used to on the rest of our trip, but the staff were more than happy to help us with it and move our room. We stayed for 4 nights and for the rest of our stay the staff was very friendly and warm. Our room was comfortable and clean.

The hotel is very well located, I walked everywhere. There was a nice welcome drink and upon checkout they have me a cute little souvenir, which was really unexpected and a nice touch. But I wouldn't suggest it to solo travelers who want to meet other travelers.

Amazing location, amazing staff, amazing experience. I highly recommend Cozytel as a place to stay for anyone coming to Old Town Chiang Mai. 2 minute walk from temples, Sunday night market, great restaurants and more!

Great service, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable accommodations. The hotel is in a very good location and offers transfers to the airport and bus stations. If you wanna rent a bike or a scooter the hotel has some to offer. The breakfast you have to order from a menu but it is very nicely prepared, very tasty and served in good portions (breads, jams, butter and beverages are free), if you don't have time to eat at the hotel they offer you a breakfast in a box too take away with you. I've spent the three days of Songkran Festival (Thailand's Buddhist New Year) in Chiang Mai with my girlfriend, on arrival the staff gave us waterproof sleeves to put our cell phones and borrow us some water guns to enjoy the party on the streets. At checkout they gave us some cool little handmade keychains. I highly recommend Cozytel.

Really nice hotel
I stay here for two nights and it was really nice. The staff is really friendly, the room are just perfect and comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around the old city. If ever in this area, you should consider staying here.

I had a very pleasant stay at Cozytel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and well-kept. The room was pleasant. Only issue I had was that it got cleaned late, I am used to the rooms being cleaned by 1 pm or so and the cleaning lady would only come by around 3pm and sometimes I would already be back in my room by then as it was really hot outside and a couple of times I had to tell her not to clean as I didn't want to leave the room. Also the toilet would often spew out dirty water and it was loud especially at night. Otherwise the room and bathroom were great. Comfortable and clean with fresh water bottles every day. I also got a complimentary taxi back to the airport as they considered me a long-term guest. I thought that was a very nice touch. Breakfast at the buffet was good and coffee was delicious. The hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and cafes. I had a great experience and would gladly come back again and would recommend it to others.
