The uniqueness is that Expedia customer service failed many times to properly manage the fact that a passport was delayed. The property is non-refundable. I will not be staying at this property now or in the future. Instead of spending my time there i stayed at many other much more amicable properties in Chiang Mai
Bella struttura in stile thai. Pulita e confortevole. Ottima pisizione

Historically interesting. Great central location. Clean staff was courteous but didn’t seem knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would say it’s a nice place to stay, but definitely overpriced for what you get.
This was a great surprise. Not knowing anything about Chiang Mai, this was in what seemed to be the best location in the old city. Lots of good restaurants nearby (including a great beakfast with fresh croissants included) and the Sunday walking street market was 1 block away and many of the best temples were very close. The staff was delightful and ready to help with anything and the free 10 minute massage was a welcome pleasure. The room was extremely quiet even though the hotel is hidden just steps off of a very busy street. This is a great place to stay while in Chiang Mai!
Lovely apartment. Very clean, comfy bed and strong water pressure in the enormous shower. Great location within the Old City. I personally wouldn’t swim in the pool as it is small but that’s me. The breakfast is delicious and service attendants at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
The hotel is very central to all the attractions in the town. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection and eggs made to order. The pool was small and only had partial sum in the morning but if you stay in this hotel you probably wouldn’t want to stay round the pool through the day as there is much to see around and about.

My SO and I loved this place. It's at the edge of the old city and you can see the remaining old city walls as you go out. There's a Muay Thai stadium (very small but was super cool) in walking distance as well as many places to eat. There's also a small tourism center next to the hotel where you can sign up for tours. I think we went to two of them. They were kind of tourist trap-y but we still enjoyed them nonetheless. One was a day package exploring rivers and elephant camps, and another was the Chaing Mai night safari. The city was phenomenal and I can't wait to be back again to both the hotel and the city. The hotel really makes you feel at Thai and it was just very comfortable. Not that new though. Definitely recommend it for the price.

The hotel cares only about making money and not about its customers’ wellbeing. It refused to cancel my reservation during the outbreaks of coronavirus while Knowing that I am traveling from China and insisted only that changing of travel date is ok. With the whole world is on alert, it is impossible to know the future travel schedule. Expedia did not work diligently to help me cancel the hotel and the flight. I got all my other hotels and air tickets booked through other channels cancelled without any problem. Avoid staying at the hotel and using Expedia!!!

Great staff. Very clean. The rooms are a bit dark. There are no instructions with the air conditioning and the controls are very hard to figure out. The unit kept shutting off in the middle of the night and the room got so hot. The linens for the beds don’t smell or look very fresh. The location is great and the staff very friendly. The cooking classes were great and the spa was nice. The pool and Happy Hour were both enjoyed by us. It would have been nice to have free transport to the airport since it is only 15 minutes away.
The hotel is located in the center of the city, in a perfect spot to be part of all the hustle and bustle. The provided a great morning breakfast and staff were always available to answer questions. I would definitely stay here again.
This was a beautiful hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai tucked down a quiet bamboo lined alleyway with easy access to all the city offers. The lobby area is lovely and the staff very attentive. The onsite tour desk can arrange anything you would like - we did a countryside bike tour and a river cruise in addition to visiting the night markets.
The room was good size with a full length cushioned window seat that was long enough to stretch out for a nice nap. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a tub/shower that requires a BIG step to get in. We made it work but it would be a problem if you have limited mobility. The air conditioning can freeze up if you set it too low, but the staff was quick to address the issue.
Our stay included a delicious breakfast buffet each morning at the onsite Wings 26 restaurant. There is an onsite spa where we enjoyed some great massages. The restaurant's head chef conducted a private cooking class for us which included a trip to the local market.
Since we were the only students we were able to choose dishes that met your dietary needs - everything was delicious.
I highly recommend this hotel for those who want a relaxing respite with easy access to all the city has to offer.
Very good location on the edge of the old town, with great access to food, drink, shopping and, of course, the wats. Staff was enthusiastic. Wifi was acceptable. Bed was comfortable. We didn't care for the room key situation: our choice was to leave the room unlocked and the AC and power on; or to lock the door and return to an oven and no power on our devices.

Place was very nice, spa like but still in walking distance to the city. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable, bathroom could use a renovation. No complaints. Location was convenient.
Beautiful Thai style hotel , right in the centre of chiang Mai , a comfortable base to discover this lovely city , tips. Hire a scoot and visit the Chinese market , probably the best market in chiang Mai.
DeNaga Hotel was truly a gem in a bustling town. The staff was beyond friendly, the food delicious, and the property pristine. Chiang Mai was our first stop and we could not have asked for a better welcome to Thailand. The staff was so helpful, helping us buy tickets, giving us water bottles, and answering all our touristy questions! The location is a hidden gem on a busy street. There was plenty to walk around and see but it is definitely just one part of Chiang Mai. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Bra beliggenhet i Gamle byen
Bra beliggenhet på hotellet i Gamle byen. Frokost og service bra. Sengene var veldig harde. Bassenget var lite og det var for det meste skygge rundt bassenget.

I almost never leave reviews but I had to here. We went to de naga on the last leg of our honeymoon due to it's high rating on trip advisor. Due to illness we had to leave early and I spoke with the manager with assurance that if had expedia send them an email, they would refund. Through many emails, they denied expedia and myself. Then they asked for a medical note which I sent. They still denied a refund. Customer service has been incredibly poor. We only stayed 2/5 days. There are many other hotels to choose from however. I do not recommend.
Beautiful teak everywhere, very spacious rooms and outdoor, airy corridors. Staff was very helpful and unfailingly polite and friendly. Highly recommend.
