Hotel Monte Rosa is the BEST! Every time we have stayed we have had excellent service! Mossimo and the hotel staff are wonderful!

Great hotel in a great little town!
This hotel was perfect. The service was great, parking was easy, the location was great! The pool area was well maintained and people were always around to order drinks or food from. Great lunch area and lounge area as well. Great family-friendly resort!

Great nights sleep
If you are looking for a clean room, nice bed, great shower and air conditioning that works...this is the place. Make sure you upgrade to the recently updated section of hotel. Well worth it. Best sleep of the trip so far

Great stay
Great hotel in convenient location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms. Good breakfast. Slightly noisy from other rooms. Pool lovely although fairly small and sunbeds are taken quickly. Would stay here again

Loved our balcony
Pros are that this is a very clean hotel with a nice staff, and they offer a great breakfast. We had a nice room with it's own lovely balcony, and we enjoyed the surrounding church bells. The only con was a loud disco party on the hotel's beautiful terrace.

Hotel with pool in a traditional Italian town
Hotel set in a traditional Italian town with a lovely terrace and pool area which was great for sun bathing. Good number of sun loungers which were very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Room cleaned twice a day, morning and evening. Great selection of continental and cooked items for breakfast which was served in a bright and airy new room. Hotel staff were helpful but found the hotel a little more impersonal due to its medium size.

Arrived in dark in pouring rain.Drove into the garage. Was not told until the morning that there was a charge. It was an overnight stop but managed to find a nice place to eat and the breakfast was good. quiet night's sleep.

Fine hotel, centrally located, friendly staff
Pleasantly surprised to find ourselves very close to town center. Took advantage of hotel garage for reasonable fee. Very courteous, helpful, professional, and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Great outdoor terrace with bar for aperitivo and relaxing. Needed to use ceiling fan for better ventilation, but overall room was fine although mattress firmer than our personal preference.

The hotel had everything we needed with a lovely pool area and a decent breakfast. For a four star hotel the room was quite basic but comfortable enough. Great location right in the centre of such a beautiful town.

Nice central hotel
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little small. The room window overlooked the hotel kitchen window. The Airconditioning did not work efficiently and was set to not go lower than 18C. Breakfast was in a really nice dining room and there was a nice variety

A Very Pleasant Stay
We enjoyed our time at the Monte Rosa Hotel, the pool was a real bonus and it was in a quieter part of town but still within easy access of everything including the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained and updated discretely. Air conditioning made the stay far more comfortable especially with the warm temperatures we experienced. The only concerns related to wifi, detailed below, and a concern which is something we have struck in Europe, the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Lovely hotel
We were quite satisfied with the hotel and Chiavari. The hotel is well located in Chiavari, the room was quite nice, and having a pool was great for a late afternoon dip after a hot day walking around. Chiavari was also a great jumping off point-- one day we went up to Santa Margherita, which was lovely, and the next day we went down to the Cinque Terre. Service was quite good-- we needed help for various arrangements and the staff were very helpful.

Good weekend
Arriving at the Monte Rosa the middle of a Saturday afternoon to find we had not reserved a garage place when booking. No problem, we were directed to a car park around the corner, very convenient at 3.50 euros for the rest of the afternoon and free the next day Sunday. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room overlooking the street was comfortable and quiet, especially for a Saturday night. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The hotel is in the centre of town which makes it very convenient for exploring Chiavari and the many restaurants close by. We would stay again.

Exceeded expectation! Wonderfully clean and comfortable. More hotel than albergo. Comfortable, spacious room, delightful pool area (again, always meticulously clean at all times), comfortable sun loungers and at no extra cost. Friendly, professional staff. Excellent location.

Very nice hotel in a pretty town, good size, with a beautiful pool, poolside area, and terrace with bar overlooking it. The staff were marvellous; the nicest I've met in Italy, and I do a lot of trips there. We found the breakfast room rather uninspiring, but the hotel will be upgrading it in a couple of years, we're told. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean, and perfectly adequate

Excellent choice
A spacious room, very comfortable bed, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, excellent restaurant and very pleasant, friendly staff. We shall definitely use this hotel again to return to an area we know well and visit often. The only inconvenience was the lack of mosquito screens at the windows (There are mosquitoes in this area from March to the end of October and the plug-in repellent provided wasn't really up to the job).

Fantastic hotel in a very nice ocean town
Hotel is nicely located in the old part of the city. The parking facility is very good, clean and easy to access. It is only 5min walkway to the sea. The hotel itself is well equipped and spacious. The highlight is definitely the pool area. This is a rare find in a city hotel. The staff was always friendly and very helpful.
