The hotel is very clean and simple, located inside their tea shop. You can smell the tea in the hallways and stairs and it smells amazing! There's not much nearby and you'll have to go to the nearest little town for needs. The walk is a bit dicey along winding mountain roads with no sidewalks, but there is a bus you can take for 2 stops too. The people who work there/own the hotel are incredible, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They picked up our luggage at the nearby town when we arrived a bit early so we didn't have to take them around and gave us rides back and forth whenever we needed. It was too kind! They also helped us figure out bus schedules and how to go places. The room is also equipped with everything you need, including snacks, water, toothbrushes, razors..etc there is water, fridge, and microwave that you can use too. Overall it's a nice midway point between chiayi and alishan if you don't want to stay in alishan and also find chiayi too far. Would recommend!

整棟民宿滿佈茶香，舒心又安眠。

因為夜半要起床上阿里山看日出，本來擔心房間會很冷，但是還蠻暖和，熱水很熱，洗頭都沒問題。民宿主人親切，詢問幾點出發才來得及看日出，非常詳細跟我們說明所有應該注意的事項，非常感謝。民宿位在阿里山公路上，可以到奮起湖買便當回民宿吃，作為觀日出的住宿中繼站很適合。

不錯的阿里山住宿選擇

隔音稍差不過室內除濕機的噪音反而完美壓過外面的聲響😆 另外床稍軟，老婆睡的腰酸背痛，我倒是一夜好眠沒什麼問題！整體來說是很棒的住宿體驗！

如果單純住宿很適合

住宿服務好，但是招牌不明顯，不太容易找到，附近要吃早餐也不太方便，如果有配合的早餐店會比較好。

房間空間大，也非常乾淨！非常用心經營的民宿 很幸運這次住的房間一出房門就有飲水機和冰箱！ 而且服務人員非常友善，主動幫我們搬大行李箱，真的非常不好意思！ 不過房間內會有蚊子，房間內有電蚊香，但開門還是要秒關門以免蚊子飛進。

Highly recommond

It was clean and comfortable stay. Dora and Danny are very nice, we arrived at raining day, they picked us up from bus station. The tea arromar full of yhe house, i felt in deep sleep. Dora provide very usefel information for where we could hung on around. Definitly will stay again if come to Alishan next time.

An excellent 3-night stay

The homestay is situated right on the main road up to Alishan, had comfortable rooms and delicious fresh breakfast. The best part, though, was the owners Dany and Dora who got in touch a few days before our stay with information regarding getting there and made arrangements accordingly. If you are going by public transport, they offer to pick you up too! Dora was extremely helpful and helped me book my bus tickets to Taipei as the website was in Chinese. We were happy with the location as we had our own car so it was easy to get to the restaurants and 7-11 about 5 minutes drive up from the homestay. Alishan forest recreation area was about a 30 minutes drive and Fenqihu and the beautiful tea and bamboo trails in Shizhou are 15-20 minutes by car.

Excellent sta! Super clean, tons of benefits, and above andeyond service. Fluent English speaking management with fantastic recommendations for what to do and the best way to do it. Had I to delay my trip last minute 2 times and they had no problem finding me later dates. Guided us on how to use public transportation the whole way up and have us a really good deal on some of the best tea I've ever had. Highly recommend staying here! If I hadn't had to work we would have stayed an extra night!

Dora and Danny were wonderful hosts. The room was spacious and clean except the bathroom and toilet were not separated and I found the floor very slippery after having a shower. The price we paid was relatively good but I did not realise that it was quite far from Alishan National Park.

Good base for Alishan tours.

Basic equipment, clean bed. Easy parking. Pension run also tea shop. Nice owners, frendly explanation about Alishan tours and their own tea types, drinking method etc. Breakfast coupons for Alishan sunrise tour.
