The location is perfect. My room was clean with wonderful bed covers, perfect for the weather. This is a strong 3 star hotel. The reception desk will schedule transportation and tours. There are many restaurants and shops within 2 blocks of the hotel.
Beautiful hotel, nice staff. We really loved this little, well-kept, Spanish hotel. The lobby was so inviting, the staff were nice and helpful, and we felt very safe and comfortable there. We didn’t use it but they have a cute little indoor pool, and a lovely rooftop patio where we watched fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent location. The hotel is good. Parking is a couple blocks away and need to get the key which can be complicated. Someone parked at the entrance blocking everything and the hotel staff didn’t do much about it. No breakfast or restaurant available.
Ok hotel if you just want to have a bed to sleep in and have earplugs with you.
Good bed, ok shower, working AC, but a buzzing sound all night from a laundry, I think.
No breakfast available and the pool is a joke. Very small and located in the lobby!!?!
The rooftop is nice.
Great location. Friendly Staff. Clean rooms & comfortable beds/pillows. No elevator for rooms on second floor. Pool is obsolete since it’s in the Lobby, so there is no privacy whatsoever & didn’t use. No hand or face towels are given. Lights in walkways are bright at night & curtains in bedrooms aren’t blackouts. I do recommend the hotel though!!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
As we found out the hard way, there are two Calle 43 in Valladolid. One in the center and one in the suburbs. Our GPS unfortunately was only finding the one in the suburbs. When we realized we were lost and called the hotel to get directions, they were particularly unhelpful.
Other than that, location in the center is good and the rooms are adequate. The parking lot is not close to the hotel though. So plan to park in front of the hotel first, to unload your luggage.
The hotel is perfectly located to walk quickly to restaurants of all kinds, the main park, and loaded with shops. The hotel itself was simple but cute, clean, and the staff was great and spoke English well. I was with two other women and they shared a double bed room while I was in a king room alone. Beds were comfortable and sheets nice. We had a safe. Air conditioning was really working great. Hot water in the shower was strong both morning and night. Tiny local chocolate shampoo was provided and a hairdryer. We walked to cenote Zaci, a must do, and Casa de los Venados another must do, and the Convento de San Bernardino where we saw the light show. Location, location, location!
This place is very close to everything (the church, downtown, cenote, La Calzada de los Frailes).
I loved the chocolate shampoo.
Negative points:
The pool is located in face of reception and therefore there is no privacy.
The room should have a minibar.
Location was perfect. The hotel is steps from the central plaza of Valladolid, but in a quiet side street. Everything was clean and functional. Street parking was easy to find within a short walk. The staff did not speak much English, in case your Spanish is poor.
Stayed the day and night. Used this hotel as a place to stay the night as we explored. Central to the city. Very walkable to all the sights. Big king size bed. Cute lil pool. Do not shower during the day, all the water is heated by the sun.
The water in the shower was hard to deal with since it was stuck on hot. Neither window in the room would lock. It did have secure parking,A long two blocks away,,,,,,
Only two bath towels..no hand towels or face clothes
Only one bottle of water
No coffee pot
Comfortable mattress and pillows
Attractive Bed covers and curtains
This was a cute, simple hotel, in a great location. Front desk staff were very nice and helped us schedule a taxi. Room wasn't fancy but was clean and worked perfectly fine.
Amenities somewhat limited, as the pool is inside, across from reception, as more of a decoration. The hot water shut off randomly if you didn't turn it on full blast, but it did get hot!
Only one weird thing: checkout was at 12, and while we were cutting it close at 11:55 (dropping off bike rentals after getting a puncture in the middle of nowhere), our key card had been deactivated early. Luckily, a nearby staff member was able to let us in so we could get our things, but this was nerve-wracking after a day of panicking, and it makes me wonder what the cutoff time really is.
