"Overall our stay at the iconic in a 3 bedroom oceanfront apartment was great. The staff were absolutely fantastic could not have been more helpful. Everything was really great except 2 things the size of the rooms they were just too small including the dining area and no airconditioning in the 2 other bedrooms. We stayed at the beginning of winter and one of the bedrooms was uncomfortably hot. Traffic is noisy during the day but you expect that. Otherwise it was great."

"Mermaid Waters Nightelier was such a unexpected surprise. Everything was very clean. The room was huge compared to most hotels, even the very expensive ones. The bed was soft and comfortable but I am used to a firmer bed and would have preferred it firmer. The linen was like new. No worn out thin towels that were white once. The free breakfast was very good and same with the bistro at a very reasonable price. I really couldn't fault anything. I will definitely stay there again."

"Very good accomodation. Spacious, new & clean. Check in is a bit clunky if you check in after 4pm as there’s no reception, but easy enough to navigate if you get the proper instructions. Not a fan of coffee sachets, & not enough for a 3 day stay. Be prepared to attend to all the check out instructions & threats if you don’t comply, but it’s easily attained. Really enjoyed the convenience & location close to beach, pubs & eateries Very secure, quiet & private. Spacious balcony too if you get a room to back of building on the ocean side otherwise youre west facing & on the highway Yes I’ll return again it’s good value"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Mantra Coolangatta. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was absolutely so lovely and very helpful. Without planning it we arrived during Cooly Rocks Festival. Cooly Rocks was so fun and so well run. We couldn't love it more. We will absolutely be back soon."
