"Overall a good stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pool area and gazebo area need a little cleanup.
OK breakfast
Breads, cereal, yogurt, coffee and a waffle maker"
"We enjoyed 2 nights at the Blufin Bungalows. The property is very well run, clean, great location. This was our first visit to Chincateague and it was perfect! The only thing negative is that I thought we would be facing the bay and the floating cottages face each other, surrounded by water. That was my mistake. The essentials were provided (coffee pot and coffee for 2 mornings, toilet paper, paper towels)."
"Was close to the stores in walking distances! However property had stained bedding, spider webs in multiple corners, and mold on the ceiling above bed! Thee walls had some sort of dirt and splash on it so needed a desperate cleaning! Staff was so friendly and helpful! Overall a good place to stay at even to rest our heads. But will not be using this inn again:("
"The waterfront views are wonderful! We enjoyed the pool and gym. The bed was reasonably comfortable. My bed was a little firmer than I prefer but I slept well."
Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Due to the bridge being closed for many hours onto the island I was offered another night's stay at a discounted rate. I really appreciated that. I was originally staying for only 1 night and was going to be driving home the next day. I wasn't in my room until 3:15 am due to the closure. It sure was nice to be able to get some time to rest before continuing on home! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Their pool looked very refreshing but I didn't take advantage of it this time. The only down side is that there isn't a waterfront view which I would have preferred. My room was completely blocked by the building next door."
"Nice room and friendly staff, but that's about it. The breakfast was the worst I've had at a hotel and the pool needs work. There was no tiki bar like described and birds poo-ed all over the pool deck and furniture. They even swam in the pool which you can't really help, but someone should be out there cleaning the pool deck and furniture during pool hours."
"It was a really nice place. It was clean, the beds were nice, parking was great, breakfast was very good. I enjoyed it and we met some really nice guests there. The pool and hot tub were clean and I did use them, but only to put my feet in because I had a sprained ankle, but it was still good. I had the seaside view and the views were great. I walked the pier, that was nice. I would definitely go back."
"The primary bedroom was very small but with the rooftop deck and the front porch it really wasn't an issue. The view of the sunset was incredible. The folks working at the "general store/check-in" were really nice. I love the rule of quiet after 10:00pm. We went the first week of June and it was really peaceful. We are booking for the same week next year!!!"
