"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe .
The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors.
We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"This was our third stay at the Lion and I highly recommend it! The rooms are comfortable with great beds, lovely shower heads in the bathrooms with super water pressure, lovely plated breakfasts with something for everyone and attentive staff."
