Best stay in Chinon

A wonderful location and host for a most enjoyable stay. Decor is beautiful yet functional and welcoming. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in all our visits to France!

We have been traveling Europe for 3 weeks and this was by for our favorite stay. What a beautiful place. Perfect location. Go explore the back yard. Beds very comfortable. Florent was so helpful in every way. Loved Chinon!

Host goes above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Restaurant recommendations resulted in fabulous culinary experiences: Nimrod and Oceania. Breakfast offered various options supplied with local ingredients. Something different was offered each morning. Parking is limited (street parking) but we always found a place close by. All hotels appear to be similar parking. Highly recommended.

Les Destinees is an elegant spacious inn with impeccable decor. The owner/manager Florent was an incredible host who couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast of locally sourced ingredients was wonderful. It is located on the edge of the historic area reached by a short walk. If we were ever to return to Chinon, we would certainly stay here.

The gateway to Chinon

From its well placed location beneath er the castle to the charming rooms, to the helpful proprietor, to the wonderful local breakfast, this place hit all of the marks of a fantastic stay. If I come back to Chinon, I will be excited to return to this accommodation. Truly top notch.
