Our check in was a little bumpy as the instructions on how to find our room were vague but we eventually got into our room. It was average. Typical hotel room with a bed, seat and desk. It was fine for our purposes. The bed itself was a bit uncomfortable, but again it was fine for our stop.

The room itself was very comfortable. Staff were attentive. Restaurant had a very limited menu which was a little disappointing. All was good until around 2 in the morning when lots of drunken shouting started coming from the corridor outside the room from a group of people, this went on for some time which tainted the stay for us.

Had a wonderful stay with family in a studio room , we were amazed with the room and the kitchen just what we needed. Room was spacious , toddler loved it , staff was amazing, restaurant food was amazing and the service was spot on.

Big carpark, decent sized clean rooms with good facilities. Staff were very helpful. Had an option for a pizza outside of the restaurant, which suited us. Everything suited our purposes for a one night stay.

The property was lovely. Looks brand new and the room was spotless. We didn't go in the restaurant but had pizza and a drink in the bar which was lovely and they also had some board games and packs of cards. The only tiny issue was that the facilities in the room could have been stocked a bit better, we only got half a toilet roll and two of the little milks for tea and coffee but managed to go get more at reception. Would love to stay again and use the spa!

Room nice, restaurant comical (not in a good way!)
The room was huge, bed very comfy and nice bathroom. Cannot fault that, we both slept well and it was clean and comfortable. Decor was quite outdated but fine enough. Vacuums left in every corridor which was odd. The restaurant/bar however, was comical. Firstly the service left a lot to be desired just absolutely not on the ball. When we first arrived, my partner ordered a drink which didn't come, then when he then asked again, he eventually was served the wrong drink. Meanwhile I was given a warm glass of bad white wine and our water never came. There was no ambience whatsoever to the restaurant. An awkward hallway desk to greet you, into a silent and super awkward restaurant. No background music and harsh lighting, you could only hear the cutlery and mumbles of other guests. As it was SO quiet you felt you couldn't have a conversation without everyone listening. Then the menu. Three options to start, of which they didn't have the most basic and the one we wanted, a salad! We went for the last remaining options which were not enjoyable, then onto the main. My partner had a huge bun, teeny burger swimming in sauce with two minuscule onion rings, it wasn't good. My mushroom risotto (the only veggie option) lacked any flavour at all bar extreme salt and seemed to be made with normal rice?! The best bit of the meal was the side salad, ironically the leaves and dressing were actually what we had asked for to start?! It wasn't cheap either, but it was very disappointing!!!

Impeccable studio apartment
The hotel and grounds are amazing. I loved every second of my stay, the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This is the second time I’ve stayed here for work, and I will definitely stay again.

Was very modern a little soulless very generic hotel. Spar part is really not as you would expect really a golf hotel with some massage offerings. Good location to explore cotswolds but just lacks the warm feel of an older property. Rooms very hot even with the radiators all swiched off and had windows open for my whole stay. Rooms where really clean and bed comfortable and cleaned daily. I would drop the spar from the name and focus on the golf.

Nice overall but...
A nice large studio with open plan kitchen and living space. A couple of gripes, the bathroom door handle keeps coming off room 612 so if you're inside the bathroom and no one is on the other side, you could end up locked in. They really need to get that fixed ASAP. I told the receptionist and she didn't seem particularly interested so maybe I'm not the only one to mention it? Kitchen is well equipped and modern with washing machine, dish washer, oven and hob. Other minor moan is the TV is in an odd position to the bed. Overall a nice stay and the kids loved the space and balcony.

Its a very nice hotel conviently located on the road to bath and city centre Free parking on the premises , but the toilets dont flush properly in both the rooms we stayed in this is a major fault Also the breakfast was minimal and basic but over priced for its quality and variety
