"The rooms were clean, staff hard working and genuinely wanted to make us happy. We decided to upgrade to an ocean front room and were charged $35 US a night for this. Not sure it was worth this cost.Special thanks to Claudio, Jean Paul, Carlos and all of the entertainment staff. The evening shows were energetic, very well choreographed with alot of talent. Food was good, we enjoyed the Japanese restaurant very much. So many wonderful restaurants in Tamarindo its worth paying for a few good meals out (Antichi Sapori, Eanas, Dragonfly and Fish and Cheeses are some of our faves!). Spent hours watching the surfers on the beach...so impressive. With the surf, the beach is not great for swimming but morning walks are wonderful. And the pool is great."

"We have travelled to Costa Rica 7 times now. Margaritaville is one of oir favorite spots , small , clean , staff are friendly and helpful . Amazing with the kids . Food is good . 3 Restaurants to choose from . Best drinks at the pool bar . Rooms were great , large , beds are comfortable , air conditioning was great . Beach amazing . We will return definitely. "

"Wonderful gem of a hotel. Large property with great beachfront, nice (but dated) rooms, great staff, good food, and nice pools. This is a great all inclusive hotel for those looking for a quiet location for a beautiful beach getaway. Staff is amazing....Candy, Steven, Kenneth, Emmanuel, Kevin, Danny, and Geo at the Tour desk.
