"Not so good due to staffing in some ateas"

"This is an older hotel, very close to the High Street and a short walk to The Priory and waterfront. The room was very nice, large bathroom. The bed wasn’t terribly comfortable but we were only there for two nights. I loved the tea set up in our room that included a variety of organic teas, fresh milk, kettle and cookies. So nice to have in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the hotel as there are many restaurants on the High Street but it looked very elegant and nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again in the future. "

"We were thrilled to have room 119 which had a balcony and we could view the cruise ships departing. It was warm and clean. The complimentary water and coffee pods were really appreciated. Service at breakfast and at reception was warm, friendly and efficient. It was a surprise that breakfast and parking were included. Had a lovely reunion evening with tasty food, especially the beef. Well done all "

"From checking in to checkout the service was excellent. In particular Gemma on reception was very helpful. Very busy hotel with a lot of children staying. As long as you don’t mind noise in the restaurant area it’s an ideal hotel for staying over for one night. "

"Loved the rooms. Bright, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious. Could do with a few more USB points. The area is lovely and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the ongoing building site (hospital) is a bit unsightly. Not the properties fault. Staff are fantastic, helpful, empathetic and go the extra mile. Massive thumbs up for staff. We only had breakfast on this occasion. Only negative to breakfast is that it is not made clear that if you can’t find something, you need only ask staff and they will help. Overall the hotel is lovely. Could do with a few water fountains for refilling water bottles."
