The elevator was out of order and our room was on the fifth floor, and the stairways become progressively narrow as you go up, very hard to negotiate with luggage. The room was not much bigger than a broom closet. Though claustrophobic, it was nicely decorated and maintained, and staff were nice. We got the room at a reduced last-minute price; its normal price is far too high for the size of the room.

Really clean, lovely staff. In a horrible area but felt safe in the hotel. Rooms need better soundproofing, I could hear doors slamming in rooms above and adjacent throughout the night.

This is the third time l've stayed at the hotel. I especially like it for convenient access to restaurants and public transport.
I stayed at a single, very small room. I was fine with that but l missed a bedside table and a charging option by the bed. Even though it's a tiny room, perhaps a shelf and a socket on the wall by the bed could be possible?
I also want to thank Sergei for helping me when l had an accident.

"I tried 3 different emails & on hold for 15 minutes to try to book parking before arriving and did not get a response. I phoned again on the morning we were due to arrive & was finally able to book parking. It is valet parking as the hotel is in the city centre, £48 a night but we thought the best ..."
