"Très confortable pour trois adultes, très belle chambre dans une grotte. Tres confortable, personnel serviable Nous avons beaucoup aimé vivre l’experience de la vie d’Antan"
Alvino Relais
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property, great spacious room, nice bath, plenty of storage, good breakfast, They use a ambient scent that was a little strong for me. Location is a 20 min walk to Matera sights. The music from parties in the event spaces can get loud in the evening. We liked it very much anyhow and likely return if in the area."

Hotel San Domenico al Piano
10/10 Excellent
"Great property in an outstanding location near an entrance to the Matera Sassi. Clean rooms and comfortable beds were nice to stay in. In addition to the Sassi access and hotel cleanliness, the breakfast was truly outstanding. It featured a variety of coffees, pastries and fruits along with other breakfast items in an attractive, large dining room. The desk is attended at all times and the building is secured at night. My only mild criticism is better information on parking prior to check in would be a plus. A secured garage is under the hotel and available for $20 Euro per might. I'd stay there again, both for the hotel and the ancient attractions of Matera."
La Sosta Motel

"Breakfast bar- what a joke. We should have had a better choice. Cresants and coffee.,Which I don’t drink could have given us a better choice One night stays get treated differently than those who stay longer. More food is given. Ithey shouldn’t have favoritism. Hope this helps others. No refrigerator which some of us needed for our meds had to find another means to keep them cool. But it was very clean"

HOTEL MOSAICO
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is located in a quiet industrial area outside town. Takes 15 min to drive to the old town but we had no problem finding a paid parking lot. Hotel is new and impeccably maintained. Great breakfast. Nice pool. We’d definitely stay there again next time we’re in Matera."
