We enjoyed having "Grandmother's Special Cake" for dessert on the evening we had dinner in the dining room. Delicious! The breakfasts at the hotel were also very tasty. Hotel Les Goelands is indeed, a very special place, only a short walk away from the center of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. In town, be sure not to miss the Mercado Les Halles St-Jean-de-Luz and the simple, but wonderful oyster bar in the building. Market days vary according to the season, so check before you go.
