Hotel Krone Churwalden was great. It’s located along a busy road in a small town, but it had a very updated feel. We stayed there two nights for our ski trip and since there wasn’t too many restaurants to choose from, we ate at the hotel every night for dinner and it was PHENOMENAL. Some of the best food we had during our Swish trip. The servers and bartenders are super nice as well.
With it being a small town we stayed in most evenings, since there isn’t much to do around there, if you aren’t skiing. Side note, you’re able to walk to the ski lifts since it’s that close. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and provided good amenities. If you’re American I will say the only thing that slightly caught me off guard was the spa (saunas, hot tub) being a nude option. The front desk clerk did explain it to me, but no one in my party believed me, until we actually went one night to relax lol.
Overall if you’re in Churwalden I wouldn’t stay anywhere but here.
