"Excellent Location of the property, everything walkable distance, so many facilities , restaurants, supermarkets, fresh juice corners and Copacabana beach very close by, very lively location and safe. Inside the rooms the tap was making very loud noise whenever we opened it in wash basin in the toilet to get water, that needs fixing otherwise all was very good. Very good hotel for the families and great value for money."

The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and Brazilian hospitality. The location is unbeatable, right on Copacabana Beach, with breathtaking views of the ocean and easy access to Rio's main attractions. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with comfortable beds and stunning sea views. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment special, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The rooftop pool and terrace provided one of the most spectacular views in Rio, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, PortoBay Rio de Janeiro exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio and would gladly stay here again. A truly memorable experience! 🌴☀️🏖️"

"Visited for 5 days in September for the NFL game. The room was clean and the bed was huge. The shower had an unreasonable amount of mold. Roof top restaurant/bar is very nice. The restaurant would not accommodate our party of 5 for breakfast. The restaurant was NOT busy and plenty of empty tables were visible. It took 2 days for us to get an iron. The hotel only had a certain amount of irons that they share amongst all of the rooms. One has to continue asking before getting lucky enough to find an iron. We attempted to order something "Togo" for a sick person who didn't want to leave the room. We were told by the rooftop and restaurant that we could not. Bell men were courteous and extra helpful."
