"From reception to lifts to carpeting on floors to room, every aspect of this hotel was 5/5….all staff were very helpful and welcoming Room had all you needed for a comfortable stay, room was clean tidy and quiet (garden facing) Breakfast time was busy but staff kept customers moving in the queue with timely cleaning and cutlery replacements…food was piping hot and plenty of it - no waiting for replenishments , just an all round great stay [1 night)"

"Another lovely stay at the Grand Brighton. All of the staff members were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The amenities in the room were lovely, my favourite toiletries, clean, spacious and comfortable. The concierge parking made life very easy, worth paying for. Was able to leave car there after check-out when we went into town. Good selection at breakfast, would have liked tea and coffee to be table service rather than totally self-service. Queues at the coffee machine was irritating, and guests struggled using them, luckily other guests were helpful!"

"Stayed for 5 nights with my dog. It was the first time I had travelled alone and the reception and breakfast serving staff were particularly kind (special mention for Amy, Nigel and Jackie). There are more limited rooms if you travel with a pet. I had been hoping for a room with bath which wasn’t an option I was advised. Having said that the room was excellent and the bathroom modern. Cleaning staff were also first class. Fabulous location and dining options. The breakfast was a real treat. Hope to return again before the end of the year."

"A wonderful hotel on the front. Pool not big, but enough for a swim. Room and bedding lovely. Air con in rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and you can sit overlooking the sea. I'd highly recommend and would stay again if in Brighton"

"Very clean room and a comfortable bed made for a restful base to explore East Sussex. The pub has a lovely Jamaican influence and we were sorry that we were not able to sample the menu on this occasion. Good for access to the coastal towns of Brighton, Seaford and Eastbourne as well as more inland places such as Lewes and Glynborne. Breakfast was excellently cooked and very tasty."
