"I don't want to tell people how good this place really is because I want to go back and don't want the price to go up. It's a great hotel, great facilities but what amazes me is it feels nicer and friendlier than the armathwaite next door. The staff are hotel professionals, Its nice to be addressed as sir by staff in proper uniform with ties. They do this while remaining friendly and never stuffy. Nothing is too much hassle. The food's brilliant. Good quality and good portion sizes. Pool's nice, gardens are nice, the silence is nice. If you go though, shhhh, don't tell anyone it's good"

"The only 1 downside to our stay was the bathroom floor. It needs some maintains to repair a hole where it meets the corner of the bath. It made us a little weary of stay at the end of the bath when showering. Other than that our 2 night stay was great. We also eat in the restaurant, the food was delicious. 👍😁"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate. The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty of loungers. Looking forward to our next stay. "
