Keswick Country House Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is an old style country house hotel. As such it will probably not be to everyone's personal taste (e.g.perhaps decor a bit dark) but we thought this hotel was excellent. Service, breakfast both super. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and, importantly, has (free) car parking facilities. Would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"Didnโ€™t pay the extra ยฃ15 per person in order to use the pool - thatโ€™s extortionate when you are already a resident! Facilities looked nice however. Decor of whole hotel lovely. Waiter Joe was really good in the evening. Room suffers from road noise if you have to have the window open (it was hot!) - understandable as it is very convenient to the M6 junction."
