9 Aug 2019We didn't visit any of the local sights due to a bad back, We spent much of our time in Cockermouth and Lorton. Cockermouth is a lovely small town with lots of great shops and places to eat

19 Jul 2019Travel light because no help with luggage to the room. Slightly confusing arrangement of the new wings where at the common entrance no room numbers were displayed. If you are vegetarian, food is limited.Pricey, £30 golf voucher not any help to us
