"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "The quality of everything was excellent. This hotel deserves its 4 stars. The customer service was first class, their knowledge and expertise, with food and drinks are visible in every detail. The decor is warm and welcoming, the wood burner was constantly tended makings the lounge areas cozy and warm. There is a welcoming atmosphere and I highly recommend."
