"The good: Amazing balcony space with a beautiful view of the harbor, the museum and local landmarks. Absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette had many great features including a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and was stocked with clean dishes. Very close to restaurants, bars, and things to do. Very helpful staff. Nicest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel.
The not so good: There was damage to a window's trim that prevented the window from being opened. There was no screen on the balcony door so leaving it open to enjoy the sounds and fresh air wasn't an option unless we wanted a room full of flies. You need to utilize public lots for parking, and it is a bit challenging to find reasonably close parking spots. It's adjacent to several bars and restaurants with lively patrons so the potential exists for it to get pretty loud, even into the evening or early morning.
The bad: not a lot of variety in adjacent restaurants and the liquor stores all close early.
Out of dozens of hotels we've stayed at in dozens of states, this one was pretty close to exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to spend time here again in the future."
