"We stayed at Galle Face Hotel in a junior suite on a BB basis and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is child friendly, the staff helpful and efficient, the rooms spacious and well stocked with toiletries and tea/coffee, the breakfast buffet was delectable with a variety of Sri Lankan, continental and English breakfast options, the salt water pool was divine and the beach front views and the sound of the waves was calming to the senses. We felt like we were in paradise. The b’fast, lunch and dinner buffets were all excellent. Loved every minute of the stay. "

"Hotel in line with normal Shangri-La standards. Team here however was absolutely superb - helpful, friendly, great fun people. They made the stay particularly enjoyable. Breakfast is solid 5 star level with good, diverse buffet; the capital bar is wonderful, world standard. Food and beverage was strong throughout. Will stay here again. "
