"Bed was more comfortable than other hotels but still not the best. To be expected. The room smelled VERY strongly of chemical cleaner, possibly carpet cleaner. We managed but it was really strong everywhere in the room and other places of the hotel. The sheets for the sofa bed were dirty in the closet but staff provided another set. Staff in general was nice and responsive when engaged. Breakfast last day there were several things missing or not being restocked which was disappointing. No staff was anywhere to be found to seek help. Coffee is above average for hotel quality. Breakfast is to be expected, not great but edible."

"Pros: the staff is very nice and the property overall looks nice. Location is convenient to base and graduation fields, as well as some shopping and minimal food choices. Cons: was very disappointed to arrive after a 9 hour drive to a dirty room. Staff was prompt and friendly when brought to their attention, but it did make me wear shoes the entire time, even in the shower, and keep all my belongings on the hard surfaces."

"The worst part was the heat inside the hotel. While the rooms were cool to cold it must have been 90 degrees in the hallways and elevator! When we checked in we were not told anything about daily breakfast and that with groups all we had to do was get a voucher at the front desk in the morning. Housekeeping was lax also! Many people were complaining about the room not being cleaned. We called front desk! We had left at 8 am to go out and when we returned room had not been attended too st 3 pm. They did send someone to clean room . No coffee cups left for in room coffee. No updated coffee and creamers either. Opened creamer and it was old. My wife tried to have tea but it was too weak!"

"Shame on me! Upon arrival, I wasn't aware this was an extended stay location. It's fine, but is a different sort of location than not. Neighbors in a room immediately next to mine must have had a lot of reasons to celebrate as they thought starting a party at midnight through 4 AM was a great idea. Being woken up every 15-20 minutes throughout the night was far less than ideal for a night's stay. The phone in my room did not work, and I didn't bother getting dressed to walk through the party zone in the hallway spilling out of room 312. So, I turned on some sleep sounds and tried to find some sleep. When I checked out the next morning, I asked if they were aware of any complaints from the rager in room 312, I got crickets. I won't ever be returning to any Candlewood Extended Stay location."

"The room was not cleaned prior to arrival. Any metal fixture in the room was rusted over and the furniture was broken or falling apart. The toilet was not scrubbed and I found trash in the bed underneath the pillow. I was transferred to the second room with similar issues and chose to leave the premise rather than stay. Reviews were inaccurate and this neighborhood in Columbus is not a safe area to stay."
