"I got straight scammed. I paid the upcharge for an upper floor room. What they don’t tell you is the lowest floor of the hotel is 6- which they call an upper floor. I paid the upcharge but stayed on the same floor I would have at the lower rate. Floors 2-5 are parking and 6 is the first actual hotel floor. They refused to give me the money back- just for the upcharge and said they consider all floors upper level. If all floors are upper level so the upper level charge is pretty much a scam to get more money out of you and then when you call them out on it they refuse to give you the upcharge back. It’s a prick way to do business."
