Aurum – A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Como

Staying at Aurum was one of the most memorable parts of my time in Como. The Stripes Room was incredible—stylish, bold, and full of character. What really stood out was the artwork in the room itself. It wasn’t just decorative—it added emotion and depth, creating a space that felt both modern and personal. It’s rare to find a hotel room that inspires you visually the way this one did. The design was refined and thoughtful, with a perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. Every detail, from the textures to the lighting, felt curated and intentional. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the lakefront, near the city center, and surrounded by great restaurants within walking distance. Whether I was exploring the streets of Como or relaxing by the water, everything I wanted was right there. Most of all, I’m so grateful to the Aurum team. Their hospitality was warm and genuine—they made the whole experience seamless and welcoming. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place you’ll want to return to. Thank you again for everything!

Charming and great location

Super cute rooms and the vibe and decor is amazing. Rooms are cozy and nice beds. Definitely a smaller hotel and you can hear the noise outside but the location is so perfect. No onsite staff 24 hours if that’s something you need.

The property is in the heart of the city hidden away with a one-door, secured entry/exit. There were 4 floors and a total of 9 rooms hidden. We had the Romantic Room on the 3rd floor, accessible via an elevator and staircase. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We secured transportation to and from the Milan airport through the hotel. The room was not large but had what we needed. The hotel, directly across from a large church opened up to 4 restaurants. Restaurants and the lake are easy walks as was the train station. Great vacation and hotel.
