Ashford Castle
Superb unique castle hotel in Cong which is a short walk. Highlight was without question the boat trip on Cong lake which is truly magical.

The Lodge at Ashford Castle
This hotel was everything I expected, but the grounds were the best part for me. Walked over to the pro shop and rented clubs (sleeve of balls and tees included) and played 9 holes despite a little rain. High tea at the castle was incredible. Staff was great without being pushy.

Ryan's Hotel
Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, ...
