"We arrived early to check-in, full house the night before so no room ready, no problem. Free shuttle to take you downtown so yay! Got lunch and explored. Called hotel to check room availability at 2:30p and was told yes. Came back and desk clerk said no, not ready. What?? Turns out when you call the number, it's an answering service. Were told you had to ask to be connected to the hotel. How would we know this and why would this person say yes, good to check-in??
Luckily only about 30 minutes later room was ready. They gave us a free water for our trouble. We had a lot of luggage and the buildings are 2 floors each, no elevators so a bit of a slog to get everything up. Telephone light blinking so called to ask but they don't know how to access voicemail & said to ignore? Checked again next day-got info but incorrect but figured it out & told desk for future.
Rooms are nice but wow - carpet is FILTHY! Needed socks the entire stay or my feet were black. Beds were comfy and shower pressure good, with nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Overhead lighting VERY weak and with curtains/shade open, folks can see right in. Sheers needed on the windows. TV had great cable channel selection so very nice.
Breakfast was great! Big selection & the staff kept it stocked. The bar/restaurant was good. Didn't try food but had nice cocktails, entertainment almost nightly - very nice!
Pool and exercise rooms really small for this size property. Parking easy."
"The room was very clean, the bed was good and the tv had streaming options as well as common tv channels, which I appreciated. In the morning the staff operating the breakfast was very helpful and friendly and offered to scramble eggs for breakfast. This was great! A fresh hot breakfast included in the cost of the stay!"
"Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Got a good night's sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so delicious, the breakfast burritos hit the spot!"
"It was interesting to say the least. Everyone was nice. That wasn’t a problem. The laundry facilities were in need of repair. Only one of two washers worked but only with the phone app no change and only one of two dryers were working. The hotel reminds me of something out of the “Backrooms”. It’s a maze at first. And the fact that they exposed part of it was a little different but I am sure they had their reasons. We had windows that looked straight out into a closed hallway. lol. Also instead of a sitting area in the suite I rented we had a large executive meeting type desk with like 10 nice desk chairs. I wasn’t mad about it just a little confused. We had our cats with us and to my surprise we had an awesome screened in patio put the side of the main bedroom. That was perfect. My kitties were able to feel like they had an awesome space just for them. I really appreciated that aspect. Overall it was a good stay. Thanks guys!!"
