"The resort was as advertised and did not disappoint; great location with access to beaches, historic centre charm, shopping and dining. The property was well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable. From arrival with a welcoming prosecco to departure the staff from front desk, housekeeping, and dining were courteous, friendly and helpful. We didnโt feel rushed and were pleasantly surprised to interact with the GM (Matteo) daily. Special shoutout to Nicoletta from the front desk for her charm, helpfulness and overall pleasant attitude. The airport transfer was arranged by the hotel and was seamless. The only improvement is really on us to have booked early enough to get a room with a French balcony."

"This place has spectacular views and looks like a Hobbit Village set in the hills of Tropea area. Elevator to the beach is excellent and property is extremely charming. There were plenty of things to do and see (views of volcano, swimming, pool bar, evening music). Power is dated and could use an upgrade but a cute mini-village with some spectacular gardens and scenery."

"We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has many great facilities, especially the spa and gym, which were a real bonus. Our child absolutely loved the nursery, and there was a great selection of activities to keep them entertained. The lunch and dinner buffets were very good, with plenty of choice. However, after a longer stay, we felt the menus became quite repetitive. It would be nice to see a little more variety throughout the week, both at breakfast and during lunch and dinner. One suggestion would be to serve breakfast until 10:30am. On several mornings, food started being cleared away before 10:00am, which felt a little rushed. As the hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere, it would be nice if breakfast service reflected that and remained fully available until the advertised finishing time. Our room wasnโt one of the newer refurbished rooms, as none were available to book, which was understandable. However, the shower was a real disappointment. The water temperature constantly changed from freezing cold to boiling hot without anyone touching the controls, making it very difficult to shower comfortably, especially with a child. We reported this and requested that a plumber look at it. Although we were told someone had attended, unfortunately nothing seemed to have changed and the problem continued for the rest of our stay. The only other issue was smoking in the evenings. While we understand this isnโt entirely the hotelโs fault, the number of pe"
