"Location was convenient for visiting Cooperstown Baseball HOF. Beds are a little mushy and the pillows too. Water pressure was weak in the shower. Never felt rinsed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. Coffee always available, which was nice."

"My earlier concern of door to room hard to open turned out to be my issue of being left handed!!!! However we did encounter our coffee maker not working and when brought to the attention of staff, were very willing to replace. Staff was definitely helpful."

"I good motel in close proximity to Cooperstown, Oneonta and the Fly Creek Cider mill. The staff do a good job of maintaining the facility and are friendly and service oriented. ( HVAC filters needed cleaning for those guests with allergies,) The check-in policy is a bit cumbersome yet understandable given the potential liability issues but was hard to read on the small 3-inch credit card screen making you feel trapped and reliant on a clerk's trustworthy explanation. The hold is removed by BW at checkout and normally by the credit card bank within a day!"

"It was a very nice place until 5 am when someone was smoking Pot outside our room and it came into the heating/AC vent and stunk up our room."

"Hotel reminded us of traveling in Europe. Old but interesting building. Rooms were small but clean. We could hear people in the hallway but guests were quiet and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on site which had decent food. Property overlooks a lake and we spent some time outside during sunset. Sabina was very friendly and informative. We would stay here again."

"To be honest, the price was so low that I didn't expect much, but my actual stay was fantastic. The room was fully equipped—it had absolutely everything. You might think that’s a given, but surprisingly, many places lack the essentials. Here, however, there was ample storage space for clothes, a microwave, a desk, a TV, a toothbrushing cup—literally everything—which was a huge help. Plus, the location right by the lake offered a magnificent view."

"Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway."

"When you first pull up the area is a little desolate and spooky, but once I got inside it was so quaint and cozy. There was no staff on site but they answered the phone immediately and there was zero hassle getting to the room. This place is like a hostel, nice common area and clean rooms"
