There were worms in the room. The room was not cleaned. We only stayed one night out of four. No one was there for us to get any help. No refund was given for the 3 nights we didn’t stay there.

The people were friendly and helpful. The beds and the breakfast were very good It was a bit hard to find the place by car. The bedside lamps were not functioning. Worst thing was the shower: the water drainage did not work. That needs fixing.

Bad hotel

Mold in the bathroom,and smelled not good. Restaurant and bar/ sitting area closed in the weekend. This was not informed on the homepage of the hotel. Breakfast was with so few things to choose from so we did not eat the second morning.

The rooms were without any extra's. No coffeemaker no föhn etc. For the price of a single room could have done more. Even the beds were not in a good condition. The breakfast was ok.

The room was ok but extremely warm due to the sun and that they had not had the curtains closed during the day. It was hard to sleep because of the temperature. The carpet in the room was filthy. They served breakfast for 8 am during the weekend which is too late. It is not a place you stay at for the weekend as a holiday, simply a place to stay as you are travelling for business or passing through. It is lokalted litterally next to a major road.

Feedback regarding my stay at A Hotel Roskilde (July 11–13, 2025) I had booked a stay at A Hotel Roskilde from July 11 to July 13, 2025, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Before check-in, I tried several times to contact the hotel for information, but received no response. After check-in, I found that the room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly after the previous guests had checked out. I contacted both the hotel staff and Hotels.com to request a solution, but was told there were no similar rooms available, and that I could not receive a refund. No alternative room or compensation was offered, which I find highly unsatisfactory. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend A Hotel Roskilde or Hotels.com to others. The level of service and how the situation was handled were unacceptable.

Something out of fawlty towers!

No one at reception during normal hours (5:30pm ish). Recieved keys from a nice young lady, who had booked the venue for a party?! She did not work at the hotel, but was instructed regarding keys and nothing else. I did not show id to get my roomkeys. Rooms were ok, but only towels for half the guest and no hot water. Asked the next morning in reception when we could expect the hot water back, and the answer was "that's a really good question". I didn't feel that continuing that conversation made any sense after that. Breakfast was tolerable, other than both yogurts i opened was mouldy, although they were not expired so dont really know what happened there. This is by far the strangest hotel experience I have ever had, and surprised to find it in my home country

Rigtig fint til prisen. God beliggenhed med nem adgang til indfaldsveje. Overraskende at man slet ikke kunne hÞre trafiklarm fra vÊrelset, hvilket var positivt. Meget flot og nyrenoveret vÊrelse - tydeligt, at de er i en overgangsperiode, da hovedbygningen med spisesal bar meget prÊg af at vÊre Êldre. Eneste minus pÄ vÊrelset var, at det var meget lydt til de andre vÊrelser og at der ikke var lys i sengelamperne - og at en transportabel lampe pÄ skrivebordet manglede oplader og var afladet. SÄ det eneste lys, var spotlys i loftet. Gode parkeringsmuligheder og god telefonservice. Nem elektronisk indtjekning. Jeg manglede tider for morgenmad i bookingoplysninger og pÄ hjemmesiden, men det stod pÄ fysisk skilt i receptionen. Placeringen er ikke i sig selv en attraktiv destination, men er fremragende som overnatning med udflugtsmÄl i fx KÞbenhavn og Roskilde. Bonus at morgenmad var inkluderet - og til sÄ billig en overnatningspris, var der et ok udvalg.

VÊrelset over forventning, men trÊkker MEGET ned, at der ikke er betjent reception i weekenden. Det fremgÄr ingensteder, sÄ hvis man selv skal checke ind og ud via en app eller tablet, fremsat pÄ stedet. GÊster, som ikke forstÄr EDB eller fysisk kan betjene dette kan mÄske bestille og betale, men ikke fÄ vÊrelse alligevel. TrÊkker ogsÄ ned, at hotellet er under delvis renovation / ombygning. I sig selv helt OK men det bÞr fremgÄ af materialet. Specielt tÊnker jeg pÄ, at man er i gang med, at beklÊde udvendige gangarealer med fliser, sÄledes at adgang til vÊrelser besvÊrliggÞres.
