Beautiful Villa, short walk to Agni Beach, heated pool with stunning views

The Almond Tree is the purpose-built holiday home that we had built in North East Corfu in 2008. It is within a 15 minute walk to Agni Beach. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the house sleeps six comfortably and has two en-suite and one separate bathroom. Downstairs the house has a large open plan living and dining area, including a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. It is both fully air conditioned and centrally heated, so that you can enjoy the room temperature that suits you best. Outside, the house has a large (9m x 4m) fully serviced swimming pool with heating for low season periods, it has a lockable gate so the little ones are kept safe. There are several large verandahs with seating, separate patio areas and a BBQ for you to use. The Almond Tree offers an outstanding view over the old village out to the sea (Corfu Channel) and the Albanian coast. It’s a very peaceful location, with plenty of areas of shade for you to escape to if the Mediterranean sun is not your cup of tea!

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful

Amazing villa and pool- spent days moving from bed to pool to hammock to lunch under the olive tree and back to the pool then evening out and back to bed. It is so restful and beautiful.

Beautiful villa! Amazing views. Spotless and has everything you could need for your stay. The stuff for small babies was also very helpful! Car needed to venture out and about. Agni Bay reachable by foot but was a fair walk down the hill. Lots of shady spots, perfect for us. Thanks so much!

We loved our stay at The Almond Tree. The villa has everything you could possibly need. It is well designed, lovely pool, air conditioning, close to the sea. In a beautiful area too. It is so nice that we might like to return one day!

Amazing villa

Beautiful villa and pool with stunning views. Agni Bay is a bit of a trek in the current heat but the water is beautiful. We didn't hire a car but caught buses from the stop at the bottom of the hill, visiting Nissaki, Kalami, Kasseopi, Corfu and Aqualand. Lots of great spots around the villa to relax with a cold glass or a coffee in the morning coffee themorning

Fabulous villa in an outstanding position.

This is a beautiful and comfortable villa, with everything one could need. There are stunning views across the Ionian Sea to Albania from every room and a lovely pool and terrace, also with a view. We had an amazing holiday here: there are so many great bays and beaches close by and first class restaurants.

Heavenly home

High quality furniture, homely, comfortable. We had ten days at The Almond Tree and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Well located, peaceful area up a small lane away from the road. The views from all the rooms were really exceptional - wide expanse of the sea and hill sides. We will miss being there, and would highly recommend it.

Perfect week away

Our stay at Almond Tree was perfect. Beautiful villa, we spent our days in the pool and walking down to Agni Bay for meals at the tavernas. We hired a boat from Agni Boats which was a highlight. A short walk from Agni over to Kalami to shop in the 2 shops stopping at the swimming spots on the way. The bus stops on the main road, we visited Kassiopi for the day. Would love to return one day.

Peaceful and serene

Large well equipped house with everything you could want. Really quite location but in reach of plenty of restaurants and supermarket & beaches. Pool was heated in early May when we used the property and was comfortable to swim in at any time. Don't really have anything negative to say about it. You won't be disappointed

Perfect villa, perfect location

Nestled in the hills of North East Corfu is the stunning Almond Tree villa. Modern, light, perfectly designed villa with outside terraces leading down to pool where we whiled away the afternoon during a Greek heatwave in the shade of two old olive trees. To the rear of the property are more beautiful old olive trees and to the front are jaw dropping views of the sea - it is perfect. Away from touristy areas, near an old village and within easy reach of sublime turquoise blue bays, staying at Almond Tree has enabled us to capture the true timeless beauty of this amazing island.

Much needed peace and quiet

We loved our week at the home from home Almond Tree. Despite the temperature hitting 30 degrees, there were plenty of cool, shady spaces in and around the villa. We didn’t need to use the air con at all. Although I was woken up by the odd motorbike, I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well whilst on a holiday in the Med.

First Corfu holiday

We often go to Kefalonia but wanted to give Corfu a try for our family holiday with our 5&7 year old boys. The villa was great, larger than expected, very clean with fantastic views. The pool was lovely. The location was absolutely perfect-Agni was lovely. We walked down one day through the olive groves. We also walked out of the villa and almost immediately you are on the Corfu trail which is gorgeous. We did some walks along this up to Porta and beyond. We hired a motor boat one day from Agni and this was our favourite day. I would thoroughly recommend a holiday here- just perfect!

Couldn’t wish for a better location and facilities. We stayed 6th to 20th May and visited all our favourite bays and tavernas. The property was immaculate, the pool heated to a toasty temperature which was great given some iffy weather for our first few days. This is our second year in a row at the Almond Tree and we’ll be back next year for sure. Real home for home feel. Very special thanks to the owners for offering to take some food out from the for our picky 2 years old toddler. Every thing we could wish for in a family holiday. Stunning property & views!

Excellent communication from the owner from start to finish and the property is amazing! Beautiful views especially from the balconies, from the sunrise to the twinkling lights in the evening (and we were lucky enough to enjoy the full moon). The pool is great and there are plenty of areas to relax, the stone table under the olive tree just feels a little bit magical. We found Roumelli's the best for food (about 10 mins drive on the main rd) the owner and his (chef) wife were so friendly and welcoming. Nikolas taverna in Agni bay is good and also offers a mini bus service. A lovely holiday was had all round and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you Catrina & Andrew, and also Sue & Ian (housekeepers) and Dave (pool guy)

Incredibly Special!

The villa, the pool, the views, the location, just wow - absolutely nothing to fault. Very well equipped, clean, spacious, very homely, and in peaceful surroundings. We researched a few properties when planning our holiday, we are so glad we chose The Almond Tree. We were enchanted with it within seconds of arriving! We fell in love with the area too especially Agni Bay which is beautiful and has a choice of great restaurants, sun beds/umbrellas for hire, and a couple of boat hire places too - we hired a boat from Agni boats and had a brilliant day out. We hired a car which was great for exploring the wider area and for food shopping (there’s a couple of well stocked mini markets within a 10 minutes drive). We got the hang of parking on the drive within a couple of tries - assisted by Dave (the pool guy) who happened to be passing by as we arrived and gave us a couple of tips (turn the air con off, drive slightly past and then reverse up). The Almond Tree will definitely be our first choice for future visits to Corfu. Grateful thanks to Catrina - she is a first class host.

Gorgeous week end of October

Just the loveliest of houses up in the hills with stunning views and set in a very pretty garden with flowers, fruit and olive trees. Short walk to the very lovely and tranquil Agni and found Agni Taverna still open for lunches. Sea warm and lush to swim. For the end of Oct we had amazingly warm sunshine and blue skies all week. Perfect for enjoying the pool with its lovely terraces and sea views. Aphrodite always a pleasure to shop at and couldn't have been friendlier. Got the car up the drive but if you're not keen on driving abroad you can get food delivered and many tavernas will pick you up and drop you back especially in the fuller season. Had just the best week, loved the villa, the art, space, light, views and gorgeous crockery. Catrina was always so fast to respond. Thank you Catrina and team, it was a real treat!

Wonderful holiday!

We absolutely fell in love with The Almond Tree and didn’t want to leave! The house is spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had just everything we needed. The grounds are on different levels with little areas to escape to out of the sun or just to read. We loved the pool, spent lots of time in it first thing in the morning and again after a day out followed some nights by a BBQ which was magical.. The views are simply breathtaking and a joy to wake up to. The house is perched on a hillside, the road up is steep and bendy but you get used to it very quickly. It’s a beautiful area..many beaches to explore and Kassiopi within a 15 minute drive. We hired a boat for a few days, available at Agni or Nissaki , which was easy and such an amazing experience to pootle into different bays for lunch, up to Kassiopi or stopping to swim and snorkel. Many restaurants to choose from, and there is much information and tips provided..also our hosts were brilliant at communicating with us. We really hope to be back soon!
