Birthday trip

Our two day trip was amazing ,lovely home and gardens to relax in . Breakfast was very good . Friendly owner.

Could it be Covid?

There was very little enthusiasm or welcome when we arrived after 7 hours on the road. The stand alone air conditioning made it impossible to sleep. The space itself is ideal and as we had been there before, we were happy to return, however... Maybe Covid is hard on the owner and made him a bit grumpy.

Authentisches Inn in Cornwall

Ganz kurzfristig gebucht, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Hervorragendes Frühstück, alles selbst gemacht von der Quiche über Yoghurt und Kaffee. Einfach super und mega sympathisch.

Charming and mostly comfortable but . . .

Comfortable beds, good bathroom and charming in it's historical character, except for the living room furnishings, but coffee creamer was not provided and TV only played old VHS tapes and DVDs which were very limited. No local cable TV provided.

Beautiful property...we were told it is the oldest original inn in Ontario, and I'm sure that's true. If you enjoy old architecture, you have to stay here. Breakfast was top notch, as if the proprietor, Robert, was a top notch chef in a past life.

L’auberge est bien située, le propriétaire nous a permis de mettre nos vélos dans son garage. Il y a un chien bien que tranquille, il venait sous la table le matin. L’aubergiste a quitté les lieux le matin durant le petit déjeuner et nous n’avons pas pu avoir du lait pour notre café.

The over all experience was extremely pleasant, I enjoyed the music room, breakfast was plentiful and our inter action with other guests that evening was congenial and interesting. We did not experience the gardens because grounds were still recovering from the winter !

It was pleasant and very clean, The bed was too high for me I needed to be very careful ,perhaps a small stool would help.
