"2 day break was really good could not fault it will definitely be back."

"We didn't go our plans had to change . I contacted the hotel explaining the situation and that as I was fully aware that I wouldn't be able to claim my payment back .I asked as we were regular guests there when we go on holiday if we could change the dates. We did not even get a reply to our request . So instead of cancelling the stay . We just didn't turn up. Why cancel the stay to enable them to sell the room again so get paid for it twice ?"

"Beautiful venue. Menu fairly limited and expensive but dining room experience was lovely. Room well appointed but dispensers didn’t work and the tv was tricky to operate."

"Very helpful, friendly staff who greeted us when we dropped off our bags, before normal check in time as we were going to a wedding and returning very late. All went very smoothly and a goid breakfast freshly served the next day rounded things off nicely"

"Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too."

"A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so can’t comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated. The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. We also enjoyed chatting with some fellow guests who were repeat visitors, which says a lot about the place. Overall, a relaxed and friendly hotel in a fantastic location, and somewhere we’d be happy to return to."
