"Excellent stay when here for an evening wedding party. Booked a meal ( only had 1 course) for before party, which was excellent, very good service too. Drink prices quite high, but I suppose should be expected as is a wedding venue. Breakfast was nice, but had to ask for extra coffee( for 4) twice before getting. Also had to ask for toast as not offered when taking food orders. Poor selection of fruit available and no Greek yogurt even though on menu. For breakfast servings, May I suggest that you offer filtered coffee instead of that from a commercial coffee machine, which would save time . Would certainly stay again should another wedding invitation, for the venue, be received."

"Check in was quick, staff offered to book us a table for dinner but declined. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Bathroom could do with an upgrade, rust and black marks throughout but otherwise clean. Iโd say a fridge in the room would have been handy. Lovely outdoor space and peaceful area."

"As a single older woman I was looking for just an overnight stay enroute from Scotland to south England and this historic โbudgetโ hotel could offer a single night at very good value. Although it was โtiredโ it offered a well lived in, homely feel with on site parking and was very clean. The linen and towels were fresh with spare pillows/ blanket. There was a beer garden attached to the bar /dining room which seemed full with happy banter/ laughter. It was a friendly, helpful place, not impersonal. By 10.30/11 it was quiet. (Guests were helpful/ friendly too!) Iโd stay there again on my travels!"

"Really enjoyed my stay. Large double room, with a very comfortable bed and good shower. They even added a fan as it was hot weather, a nice touch. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great pub downstairs, with a good, varied evening menu, and the cooked breakfast was lovely too. Only niggle, was that breakfast was served in the pub, which wouldn't be a problem if the tables had been wiped down properly the night before - a bit sticky to be eating your breakfast at! All in all, a great place and I wouldn't think twice about staying again if I go back to Corbridge, which I hope I manage to do, as it's a wonderful place."
