"The staff were brilliant, right from Check in to departure, they couldnt do enough for you. Rooms were lovely and clean, food in the evening was superb also as well as breakfast."

"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "

"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. "We had a wonderful stay and the evening meal was excellent - highly recommended and very good value. Breakfast was also excellent. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge and bar and service was friendly and very good, the staff are all great and very welcoming. The grounds are pretty and the room was very good size and bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend a stay here."

"Despite the wet and windy conditions we really enjoyed our stay and managed to get around to our favourite spots. Steve & Julie provided a lovely starter pack to see us over the first 24 hours. Cottage is superb, with all the amenities you would expect at home. Would recommend it as a base to tour the countryside."
