"Staff were friendly and helpful, great breakfast and a family room with a view of the sea which was ready and spotless when we checked in. Use of the indoor swimming pool and spa just round the corner was perfect when the weather wasnt great. Lounge and Bar are very comfortable with a great selection of drinks and even happy hour 2 for 1 coctails! Great hotel in a great location with fantastic rooms and views."

"I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. "
