"Amazing staff and location! Went on a family trip with cousins and extended in laws and stayed here solo. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my little Spanish speaking abilities (thank you all for your patience!) Breakfast was convenient and available daily. Also coffee was available in my room (if you know you know this is a plus in Atacama!) If you’re considering this hotel, book!"

"We had an amazing experience. Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and with all amenities. But most importantly, the owner was very accommodating, informative and genuinely kind. She waited for us when our flight got delayed and we checked in at 2am. We were then able to modify our stay of 5 nights, when I decided to change our itinerary after we already arrived (due to weather). She also helped us booking a last minute taxi back to the airport. If/when we return to San Pedro, we will definitely try to book a stay here."

She helped us secure a transfer to the airport as well as recommendations for bike rentals and other information. The grounds has 3 lovely dogs on property who are adorable and sweet. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!"

The location is excellent, ideal for exploring the incredible landscapes of Atacama, while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were fantastic—welcoming, kind, and always ready to help with every request. Their hospitality made us feel at home and added something truly special to our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly suited for relaxing after a day of adventures in the desert. Everything was well organized and taken care of with great attention to detail. Casa Lickana was the perfect base for discovering San Pedro de Atacama. A beautiful place, excellent service, and wonderful people made this stay a truly memorable experience. We highly recommend it and would gladly return!"

"The hotel had a unique two-level layout, with the bed on a lofted top level and a small room with a bathroom below. The internet was good, but unfortunately, the staff didn’t speak much English. Also, the biggest downside was that it was pretty cold downstairs, while it was warm upstairs."

"Staff very helpful and friendly, although no English. Happy to converse using translation tools. Swimming pool was closed due to it being winter, which I didn’t reslise when I booked. A couple of times there was no water, no electricity and no wifi, but staff worked to resolve the issue. Breakfast was very good and there was free tea, coffee and iced drinking water available all day. I didn’t have supper at the hotel but did have some drinks at the bar by the open fire which was welcoming and warm."
